Tech Tips: Remote Work Lessons to Take Forward From the Shutdown (May 29, 2020)

This is one of my best “New Normal for Lawyers” tips and I only had to write part of it.

Today’s feature from Attorney@Work is Tech Tips: Remote Work Lessons to Take Forward From the Shutdown. Attorney@Work regularly enlists a panel of experts to do a group post and the tips in this one are easy to read and very valuable. The eight contributors include some top experts, including five past ABA TECHSHOW chairs. I was happy to contribute.

Topics include managing a remote workforce using Microsoft Teams, reconfiguring your work-from-home space based on what we have learned so far, remote working security, getting organized, fun videoconferencing tips and observations on personal resourcefulness and perseverance. It is great for Friday (or any day) reading.

Bonus Tip: Attorney@Work has been a great free practice management information resource for many years now. Their motto is Attorney At Work Logo“Get really good ideas every day for your law practice.” So, if you have not subscribed to their Daily Dispatch yet, you can do so at the bottom of this post or here.
