Free Legal Information Brochures and Videos
Free information produced by the Oklahoma Bar Association at no cost to the public on more than 20 legal topics. Printed versions of brochures can even be mailed to Oklahomans for free.
The words “pro se” come from a Latin phrase meaning “on behalf of oneself.” If you are representing yourself in a court case without the assistance of an attorney, you are proceeding pro se. This is also sometimes referred to as self representation. These resources are designed to assist you if you wish to file pro se in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma is a nonprofit organization that provides civil legal assistance to low-income persons throughout Oklahoma.
- AIDS Legal Resource Project provides full legal representation, brief advice, pro se legal clinic, self-help materials, as well as a confidential toll free hotline at 866-817-8151.

OCU Pro-Bono Housing Eviction Legal Assistance Program
Funded by the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, OCU HELP provides pro bono legal assistance for all tenants in Oklahoma County facing lease disputes or eviction by informing them of their procedural and substantive rights. Two licensed attorneys supervise OCU Law students recruited to help these families while gaining experience with basic legal skills.
