Safari on the iOS devices leaves a lot of extra tabs open. You know how extra tabs slow down the browser on computers. Closing unnecessary tabs on your phone’s browser is a good idea too, especially if you have 400 or 500 tabs open.

So open Safari and instead of tapping on the Tabs icon in the lower right corner as you normally do to display a cascade of tabs, hold it down to display your number of open tabs and close them all. You will also be given the opportunity to set a limit to the number of open Tabs after you do that.
