Mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 22, when OBA Day at the Capitol returns to the Oklahoma Bar Center. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. in Emerson Hall and features an array of speakers who will present information about pending legislation during the morning session. For those who would like to speak directly with legislators, a visit to the Capitol is planned for the afternoon after lunch is served at the bar center.

This event, held virtually the last two years due to the pandemic, is an annual opportunity for OBA members to learn about pending legislation that could affect the practice of law in Oklahoma.

“In order for bar members to best represent their clients, it is critical we stay abreast of any proposed changes in our laws,” said OBA Vice President Miles Pringle, who chairs the association’s Legislative Monitoring Committee. “OBA Day at the Capitol offers attendees the chance to directly hear from officeholders and others about what is going on with the Legislature this session.”

RSVPs to Alisha Davidson are requested to provide an accurate headcount for lunch. Learn more about the OBA Legislative Monitoring Committee at okbar.org/legislative.
