BOARD MEMBER REPORTS Governor Aspan reported she attended an ABA program titled “Disaster Response, Part 1: Undercutting FEMA and the Future of Federal Disaster Relief,” attended the Professional Responsibility Commission meeting, attended the Tulsa County Bar Association Board of Directors meeting, chaired the Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma Financial Oversight Committee meeting, attended the Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma Board of Directors meeting, attended the ABA Civil Rights and Social Justice Spring Virtual Council meeting, and she attended the joint reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. Governor Barker reported he attended the Garfield County Bar Association meeting, worked with the Legal Desert Task Force, and reviewed the OBA Awards Committee materials and schedule for 2026. Governor Cooper reported he attended meetings of the Oklahoma County Bar Association Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He has also worked to finalize the construction contract related to renovations to the Oklahoma Bar Center. Governor Dodoo reported she attended the Bench and Bar Committee meeting, attended the Law Schools Committee executive meeting, attended the OCU School of Law Alumni Association Awards Gala, and she attended the joint reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. Governor Jones reported by email he attended a meeting of the OBA Legal Desert Task Force. Governor Hixon reported he attended OBA Day at the Capital presentations, attended two meetings of the OBA Civil Procedure and Evidence Code Committee, submitted a candidate profile for the Tulsa County Bar Association delegate elections, attended the TCBA Board of Directors meeting, attended the TU College of Law Hall of Fame and Gala event at Southern Hills Country Club, and he attended the joint reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. Governor Locke reported he attended the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Assistance Program Committee meeting and the Bryan County Bar Association joint reception. Governor Loyall reported she attended the Canadian County Bar Association March meeting, met with Sarah Jane Gillett regarding the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Foundation, was sworn in as the associate municipal judge for the City of Piedmont, and she attended the join reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. Governor Norman reported he attended the Seminole County Bar Association meeting, discussed the Seminole County Law Day golf tournament planning and sponsorship activities, attended the Access to Justice Committee meeting, and he attended the joint reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. Governor Oldfield reported he attended the Disaster Response and Relief Committee virtual March meeting. He also made preparations for hosting the Ask a Lawyer phone hotline in Kay County in observance of Law Day. Governor Trevillion reported he attended the joint reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. Governor West reported he attended OBA Day at the Capital, the Cleveland County Bar Association Executive Team meeting and the joint reception with the Bryan County Bar Association. REPORT OF THE GENERAL COUNSEL General Counsel Hendryx reported on the status of pending litigation involving the OBA. A written report of PRC actions and OBA disciplinary matters for the month was submitted to the board for its review. BOARD LIAISON REPORTS President-Elect Knott reported the Bench and Bar Committee has an upcoming meeting scheduled.
