PHOTO SPOTLIGHT: SUMMER FUN AT THE ANNUAL SHEEP CREEK DINNER Judges and bar leaders from across the state gathered in June for the Pontotoc County Bar Association’s annual Sheep Creek celebration and dinner. Retired Pontotoc County Judge Tom Landrith (center) received his pin recognizing 50 years of OBA membership during this year’s event, which was also attended by Chief Justice Dustin Rowe and Justice Noma Gurich. LHL DISCUSSION GROUPS TO HOST SEPTEMBER MEETINGS Monthly Discussion Group: The Oklahoma City Lawyers Helping Lawyers monthly discussion group will meet Sept. 3 at the office of Tom Cummings, 701 NW 13th St. The Tulsa group will meet Sept. 10 at the office of Scott Goode, 1437 S. Boulder Ave., Ste. 1200. Women’s Discussion Group: The Tulsa women’s discussion group will meet Sept. 15 at the office of Scott Goode, 1437 S. Boulder Ave., Ste. 1200; the Oklahoma City women’s discussion group will meet Sept. 24 at the first-floor conference room of the Oil Center, 2601 NW Expressway. Each meeting is facilitated by committee members and a licensed mental health professional. The small group discussions are intended to give group leaders and participants the opportunity to ask questions, provide support and share information with fellow bar members to improve their lives – professionally and personally.
