Very few decisions from the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals make the headlines, but each year approximately 500 cases are heard and decided by this intermediary appellate court. Speaker Bevan G. Stockdell is staff attorney to Vice Chief Justice M. John Kane IV of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Bevan previously spent eight years as a staff attorney at the Court of Civil Appeals.
