A NEW WAY TO EARN MCLE CREDIT Recently, the Oklahoma Supreme Court amended the rules for mandatory continuing legal education to include writing scholarly articles that are published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal. The MCLE Commission will award 6 credits per published article for each contributing author. LHL DISCUSSION GROUPS TO HOST APRIL MEETINGS Monthly Discussion Groups: The Lawyers Helping Lawyers monthly discussion group will meet Thursday, April 2, in Oklahoma City at the office of Tom Cummings, 701 NW 13th St. The group will also meet Thursday, April 9, in Tulsa at the office of Scott Goode, 1437 S. Boulder Ave., Ste. 1200. Women’s Discussion Groups: The Tulsa women’s discussion group will meet Tuesday, April 21, at the office of Scott Goode, 1437 S. Boulder Ave., Ste. 1200; the Oklahoma City women’s discussion group will also meet Thursday, April 23, at the first-floor conference room of the Oil Center, 2601 NW Expressway. Each meeting is facilitated by committee members and a licensed mental health professional. The small group discussions are intended to give group leaders and participants the opportunity to ask questions, provide support and share information with fellow bar members to improve their lives – professionally and personally.
