COMMITTEES AND DIVISIONS: Committee Fund Raising: (1) Fund Raising

FUND RAISING POLICY FOR COMMITTEES, SECTIONS, DIVISIONS AND COMMISSIONS OF THE OKLAHOMA BAR ASSOCIATION

Before any committee, section, division or commission of the Oklahoma Bar Association solicits in its representative capacity money, services or property of a value in excess of $1500 from any person or organization other than its own individual members for any activity, project or program which will be represented to the public as one involving, endorsed or sponsored by the Association or any of its committees, sections, divisions or commissions, a written request to conduct the solicitation must be submitted to the President of the Association and approval obtained from the President. In the event the President refuses to approve the request, the chair of the committee, section, division or commission or his or her designee, may present the request to the Board of Governors at a regular or special meeting of the Association. The Board will then decide whether the solicitation will be permitted in the manner requested or in some modified form.
