\"\"Fellow Bar Members,<\/p>\nI would like to invite you to join me for the 121st OBA Annual Meeting,\u00a0to be\u00a0held Nov. 6-7 in downtown Oklahoma City.\u00a0For more than a century, this event has brought our\u00a0members together. Through this meeting, we have the opportunity to connect, honor one another through OBA Awards and guide the direction of our profession.\n

This year, the Annual Meeting will look a little different. After hearing your feedback, we are\u00a0condensing the meeting<\/strong>\u00a0to focus on official bar business and celebrate the achievements of our\u00a0members. Many of you have\u00a0indicated\u00a0that carving out multiple days for a conference can be difficult.\u00a0In response,\u00a0we are simplifying the format to make it easier for more\u00a0members to\u00a0participate.<\/p>\n

At the Annual Meeting,\u00a0we\u00a0conduct\u00a0the most important work of the\u00a0association – electing leadership, considering bylaw changes and making important decisions to guide our profession. By concentrating the agenda, we\u00a0are optimistic that many more of you will attend and participate in this very important gathering.<\/p>\n

Please\u00a0join\u00a0me\u00a0in November\u00a0in Oklahoma City to take an active role in\u00a0the vital business of our\u00a0association and\u00a0to\u00a0continue building connections\u00a0with your professional sisters and brothers\u00a0that\u00a0lead to improved professionalism and civility for us all.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>This year’s meeting will focus on official bar business, including leadership elections, reports and key decisions that shape the association.\n

Awards will be presented during this year’s Annual Awards Luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 6, and all delegates and guests are welcome to attend Friday morning’s Delegates Breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. The General Assembly and House of Delegates will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.\u00a0Registration for these events is now closed.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Law School Luncheons will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, following the House of Delegates. Please contact your law school for more information and to register.<\/p>\n
