DR. KAREN KOREMATSU

Dr. Karen Korematsu is the founder and president of the Fred T. Korematsu Institute and the daughter of the late civil rights icon, Fred Korematsu. Dr. Korematsu is a national speaker and travels the country advocating for civil liberties, social justice, civics and ethnic studies education. She promotes the Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution on January 30 in perpetuity for all 50 states, and she has signed on to several amicus briefs opposing violations of constitutional rights.

JULIE A. BAYS
Practice Management Advisor, Oklahoma Bar Association

Julie A. Bays is the practice management advisor for the Oklahoma Bar Association and is co-chair for the ABA TECHSHOW Planning Board.

Ms. Bays started her legal career at the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office in 2002, where she specialized in prosecuting antitrust and consumer protection cases. Her commitment to the public interest extended beyond the courtroom, as she actively served on several task forces and committees, including the Oklahoma Bar Association Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee, the Federal Trade Commission Southwest Netforce and the National Attorneys General Association Antitrust Policy Task Force.

KENTON BRICE
Director, Donald E. Pray Law Library, OU College of Law

Kenton Brice is the director of the Donald E. Pray Law Library at the OU College of Law. He joined the Law Library in 2015 as its first Digital Resources Librarian. In addition to teaching legal research in the Legal Research, Writing, and Advocacy Program, Mr. Brice also assists in administering the Digital Initiative at the College of Law.

JIM CALLOWAY
Director, Management Assistance Program, Oklahoma Bar Association

Jim Calloway has served as director of the OBA Management Assistance Program for 25 years. He received his J.D. from the OU College of Law. He publishes the award-winning law blog, "Jim Calloway’s Law Practice Tips" and has co-authored three ABA books on law practice management. Calloway, alongside Sharon Nelson, produces the monthly podcast, "The Digital Edge: Lawyers and Technology," covering legal tech issues.

SEAN A. HARRINGTON
Director of Technology and Innovation at the OU College of Law 

Sean A. Harrington, the director of technology and innovation at the OU College of Law, combines a profound background in law and technology, rooted in a lifelong passion for computer science. Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Harrington pursued a diverse educational path, initially graduating with a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA. He then furthered his education with a J.D. from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, followed by a Master of Science in library and information science from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science in data analytics from Arizona State University. This foundational knowledge positioned him to be a frontrunner in incorporating technology within the legal sphere.

GINA HENDRYX
General Counsel, Oklahoma Bar Association

Gina Hendryx is the OBA General Counsel. A licensed attorney for more than 30 years, Ms. Hendryx received her J.D. from OCU School of Law. As General Counsel she is the chief disciplinary counsel, supervising a staff of 15 and serves as the association’s counsel on other legal matters. Ms. Hendryx works with the Professional Responsibility Commission and serves as a liaison to the OBA Board of Governors, OBA committees, the courts, and other local and national entities concerning lawyer ethics issues.

CATHERINE SANDERS REACH
OU College of Law Luncheon 

Catherine Sanders Reach is director for the Center for Practice Management at the North Carolina Bar Association, providing practice technology and management assistance to lawyers and legal professionals. Formerly she was director of law practice management and technology for the Chicago Bar Association and the director at the American Bar Association’s Legal Technology Resource Center. Prior to her work at the NCBA, CBA and ABA she worked in library and information science environments for several years, working at Ross and Hardies as a librarian. She received a master’s degree in library and information studies from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa in 1997.

BEN M. SCHORR
Senior Content Program Manager, Microsoft

Ben M. Schorr is a Senior Content Program Manager at Microsoft. He is also the author of several books and articles on technology including “Microsoft 365 for Lawyers” and “The Lawyer’s Guide to Microsoft Word.”

JORDAN TURK
Attorney and Legal Technology Advisor, Smokeball

Jordan Turk is a practicing attorney in Texas and is also the Legal Technology Advisor at Smokeball. Her family law expertise includes appeals, pre and postnuptial agreements, as well as complex property division and highly contentious custody cases.
