Christian Heritage Academy won the state championship in the Oklahoma High School Mock Trial Competition. This year’s mock trial team was coached by teacher Jerrid Eischen and its attorney coach was Chris Box. Returning for a fourth year on the team was Amber Box. Third-year team members were Breonna Burns, Joe Crow, Jonathan Irwin and Jennifer Tilly. Second-year team members were Patrick Burroughs and Danielle Killion. New to the team were Addi Ellis, Kerri Jung, Jared Miller, Ryan Morrisett, Taylor Palmer, Kylie Quinn, Danilo Vara, Maddie Williams and Kenny Wooldridge.
Two Christian Heritage students received special awards: Amber Box was named a best witness and Ryan Morrisett was selected as best attorney.

Clinton High School finished second overall in the competition. Their team was coached by teacher Kathy Kelley and its attorney coaches Julie Strong and Mark Hendrickson. Returning for a third year on the team were Amanda Andrade, Joesuf Hernandez and Andrea Jaquez. Second-year team members were Gracious Arnette and Jerica Kehoe. New to the team were Kaylyn Baker, Angeline Breaux, Karson Brooks, Jamie Casias, Ruby Gubitz, Jessica Heard, John Lair, Zachary Lee, Jessica Ramirez, Jarrett Richert, Preslee Stephens and Pazlie Urbina.
Awards were given to two Clinton students: Jessica Heard was named best attorney and Andrea Jaquez was chosen as a best witness.

Returning for a third year on the team were Destiny Clark and Jane Cooper. Second-year team members were Kelli Clark, Lance Keenan, Brittain Keller, Daniel Luhmann and Kadi Uhack. New to the team were Joel Allen, Scotty Bowers, Cara Cliburn and Zachery Dennis.

Jenks High School’s team was coached by teacher Tim Sloan and its attorney coach Mike Horn. Returning for a third year on the team was Julie Hildebrand. Second-year team member was Reston Dooly. New to the team were Luke Brigan, Austin Cornwell, Shilah Copeland, Christien Crynes, Parker Dooly, Barrett Powers, Kelsey Roach, Michael Shahan, Patrick Shahan and Eric Yeager.

New to the team were Connor Barnhart, Kelsey Birkes, Julia Boese, Seth Bourdeau, Ian Campbell, John Christner, Tony Daza, Christian Ewing, Nicholas Foster and Chris Marshall.
