
Ada High School’s maroon team won the
state championship in the Oklahoma High School Mock Trial Competition.
The team is coached by Angie Dean and its attorney coach is Frank
Stout. Returning to the team for a third year are Quaid Jones
and Chris Roberson. Jane Cooper has participated for two years.
New to the team are Katy Caudle, Willy Gould, April Hanson, Kris
Lowry, Daniel Luhmann, Lauren Poe, Jake Rudd, Gessica Sewell
and Kadi Uhack.
Two Ada students received special awards: Quaid
Johns was selected
as best attorney and Gessica Sewell was named best witness.

Shawnee High School finished
second overall in the competition. Their team is coached by Sharon
Davis . Returning to the team for a fourth year are Marco Del
Moral, Rob Elliott and Lindsay Houston. Logan Foster and Kelsie
Tucker have participated for three years. Second-year participants
are Heather Swadlely and Stephen Whitmore. New to the team are
Anne Alger, Jacob Compton, Sam Crosby, Kayla Dixon, Tifani Harris,
Michael McLaughlin, Jamelle Payne, Dalton Smith and Kelsey VanHorn.
Awards were given to two Shawnee students: Marco
Del Moral was selected as best attorney and Anne
Alger was named best witness.

Diann Dodd, and its attorney coach is Rita Lamkin. Joshua Patton
has participated in the program for four years. Returning for

team are Justine Gary, Brittnea Henry, Richard Hulsey, Tiffany
Maye, Ashlyn Metcalf, Tim Tillock and Dylan Ward.
