Sessions for the Representative Democracy in America program will be held January 29, 2009 for Edmond Public Schools 5th grade teachers.
On Saturday, February 28, 2009, training will be hosted at the Oklahoma Bar Center. Educators may elect to attend the 3 hour morning or afternoon RDA session. Concurrent sessions will be offered addressing Project Citizen, LRE Summer Institutes, and the George Washington Oklahoma Teaching Ambassador Program. Enjoy a nice lunch and spend the entire day, morning, or afternoon learning about resources available for civics education. A grant from the Center for Civic Education allows us to provide RDA materials free of charge to the participant.
