Sessions
for the Representative Democracy in America and Project Citizen Programs
will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Oklahoma
Bar Center, Oklahoma City.
Teachers attending may elect to attend either the Representative
Democracy in America or Project
Citizen Session.
Teachers attending will receive:
- Mileage reimbursement for 20 or more miles roundtrip
- Lunch
- Representative Democracy in America Attendees: FREE Multi-media
supplemental materials for teaching Representative Democracy in
America
- Project Citizen Attendees: FREE Classroom set of textbooks (30)
Funding through the Center for Civic education allows for training
opportunities and the distribution of materials to educators to promote
the teaching of civic education.
