Lawyers in the Classroom

Request a Lawyer to Speak to Your Students

The Oklahoma Bar Association through its Law-related Education Department has been a long time proponent of civics education in the schools.  With the inclusion of citizenship as an area of emphasis in the newly adopted Oklahoma Academic Standards, now is a great time to request an attorney speaker.  Lawyers in your community are available to teach civics lessons and assist with citizenship activities.

Attorneys are available to assist with:

  • Constitution Day
  • Freedom Week
  • Career Day
  • Mentoring
  • Civics Lessons
