THEME ARTICLES

PUBLICATION DATE

Five monthly issues of the journal are dedicated to a practice area of the law. See the editorial calendar for the dates of the theme issues and deadlines for submission.

TOPICS FOR CONTENT

For each theme issue four or five articles related to that theme or practice area will be published.  Articles are encouraged to be more practical than scholarly and offer "how to" instructions.

LENGTH

Submit one original double spaced on 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper with footnotes at the end not to exceed 12 pages. Authors are encouraged to limit the number and length of endnotes.

APPROVAL

The Board of Editors review and approve all theme articles for publication. Decision is based on quality of the article, its substantive value, its general interest to Oklahoma lawyers and the originality of its subject matter. Preference is given to OBA members. Letters are mailed to authors of articles not accepted.
