(OKLAHOMA CITY – Dec. 12, 2007) The American Bar Association Journal announced this week that they have selected Jim Calloway’s Law Practice Tips Blog as one of the top 100 best Web sites by lawyers, for lawyers.
The Law Practice Tips Blog is authored by Jim Calloway, who is the director of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Management Assistance Program, which assists attorneys with law office practice management and technology issues. Blawg is a term used by some in the legal industry to distinguish law-related blogs from others.
Lawyers are now being asked to vote on their favorites in each of the Blawg 100’s 12 categories. To vote, go to www.abajournal.com/blawgs/blawg100. Voting ends Jan. 2, 2008.
“Our list of the 100 best lawyer blogs is the cream of the crop from our directory of more than 1,500 blawgs in dozens of categories, including blawgs focused on almost every state, law school and major federal court in the nation,” said Edward A. Adams, the journal’s editor and publisher.
Calloway said, “I’m certainly pleased with this recognition and, even more pleased that after almost three years, I’m still able to come up with new and fresh content for my blog. Even though my audience is generally the legal community, I do post some content that is useful for other professionals and anyone who uses the Internet. I once received an e-mail about the blog from the Attorney General’s office in Guam, so it certainly is true about the world-wide reach of the Internet.”
