OBA Endorses Document Assembly and Management Software

Sept. 2, 2006 – The Oklahoma Bar Association has endorsed LawWare Inc. to offer bar members a discounted group rate for subscriptions to the document assembly, document management and client management software program.

Created by Oklahoma attorneys in 1991, LawWare streamlines the process of organizing and generating legal forms and related documents for law offices of any size. Among its many features, the software allows users to enter client information one time to begin producing hundreds of working documents with thousands of variations.

“LawWare’s ease and efficiency make it one of a firm’s most valuable assets,” said OBA President Bill Grimm of Tulsa. “We are excited about this partnership and anticipate that many of our members will benefit from it.”

With the OBA endorsement, members may subscribe to LawWare at a discounted rate of $49 per month for the first copy and $10 per month for each additional office copy.

“Today’s attorneys look for technology that makes business sense for their practice,” said Richard Holmes, president of LawWare Inc. “Those who take advantage of this technology will see a significant improvement in productivity and profitability.”

LawWare systematically guides users through relevant questions for selected matters, then merges this information into comprehensive, matter-specific documents including pleadings, forms, correspondences and billing statements. The software prepares documents using either Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word or Microsoft Works.

LawWare allows users to:

  • Enter client information one time to begin producing hundreds of working documents with thousands of variations
  • Increase caseload without additional support staff or investment in high-end computer technology
  • Modify hundreds of master documents to your liking or create or add your own documents
  • Stop spending countless dollars and frustrating hours locating forms and templates that restrict your office to the "search and replace" tedium of yesterday
  • LawWare Master Documents include, but are not limited to: pleadings, letters to clients and other parties involved, state and federal forms in some modules (Form SS-4, Form 2553, Reservation of Name (Corp and LLC),etc.), affidavits, statements and more.

  • Produce hundreds of documents, with thousands of variations, based on client information and responses to matter-specific questionnaires
  • Produce completed legal forms in a fraction of the time of using cut and paste, fill-in the blanks, templates

  • Edit final documents without leaving LawWare, using features like Microsoft Word spellcheck
  • Create labels and envelopes, add your unique Letterhead – LawWare is flexible and customizable
  • Download periodic updates from www.lawware.com as state laws are amended and modules are added

LawWare's subscription model gives attorneys all the capabilities of enterprise software without the obstacle of upfront investment or future unknown upgrade expense. Training, technical support and periodic upgrades are all included with the LawWare subscription.

About LawWare Inc:
Attorneys Chuck Hanson and Richard Holmes formed Tulsa-based LawWare Inc. in 1991.
