RESOLUTION NO. ONE: RULES CREATING AND CONTROLLING THE OBA - ANNUAL DUES
Action: Passed Unanimously
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Delegate of the Oklahoma Bar Association to recommend to the Supreme Court amendment of Article VIII, Section 1 of the Rules Creating and Controlling the Oklahoma Bar Association, as published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal and posted to the Web site www.okbar.org, relating to change in the amount of dues to be paid by active members of the Oklahoma Bar Association. (Submitted by OBA Board of Governors. Adoption recommended by the Board of Governors.)
RESOLUTION NO. TWO: CERTIFIED INTERPRETER STATUTE RESOLUTION
Action: Passed
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Delegate of the Oklahoma Bar Association that the Association adopt, as a part of its Legislative Program, proposed legislation which would codify new law at 20 O.S. Section 1701, as published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal and posted on the OBA Web site, www.okbar.org, relating to creation of the Sate Board of Examiners of Certified Courtroom Interpreters. RESOLUTION NO. THREE: CIVIL PROCEDURE

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Delegates of the Oklahoma Bar Association that the Association adopt, as part of its Legislative Program, proposed legislation creating new law to be codified as 12 O.S. § 140.1 relating to transfer of venue and amending 12 O.S. §§ 696.2, 696.3, 990A, 1083, 2004.1, 2005, 3234, and 3236 relating to judgments, perfection of appeals, dismissal of dormant actions, subpoenas, service of pleading and other papers, production of documents and requests for admissions. RESOLUTION NO. FOUR: DEATH PENALTY REPRESENTATION COMPENSATION

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Delegates of the Oklahoma Bar Association that the Association adopt, as part of its Legislative Program, proposed legislation creating new law to be codified as 19 O.S. ' 138.7a relating to compensation for court appointed counsel in death penalty cases. (Submitted by Barry L. Derryberry, Tulsa)
RESOLUTION NO. FIVE: OKLAHOMA UNIFORM TRUST CODE

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Delegates of the Oklahoma Bar Association to implement the amendments to 60 O.S. § 131 et seq. relating to the adoption of the Oklahoma Uniform Trust Code that defines terms, determines jurisdiction, contains rules of construction, relates to various types of trusts and the duties and liabilities of persons dealing with such trusts. (Submitted by OBA Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section. Adoption recommended by the Board of Governors.)
RESOLUTION NO. SIX: CREATION OF LAW STUDENT DIVISION

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Delegates of the Oklahoma Bar Association that Article II of the Rules Creating and Controlling The Oklahoma Bar Association be amended by adding a new subsection and amending the Bylaws by adding Section X (B) "Law Student Division."
