Opening Your Law Practice (formerly The New Lawyer Experience) is a free seminar for new lawyers, those returning to private practice or venturing out on their own.  The program will address the nuts and bolts of setting up a law practice, including marketing, available resources, law office technology, client relations, professionalism, financial management, ethics and trust accounting, malpractice insurance and risk management.  This informative seminar is free with pre-registration and lunch is provided by Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company.  Speakers are Gina Hendryx, Oklahoma Bar Association General Counsel; Jim Calloway, Director of Oklahoma Bar Association Management Assistance Program; Judge David B. Lewis, Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals and Phil Fraim, President, Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company.

Opening Your Law Practice will be held at the Tulsa County Bar Association on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, and in Oklahoma City at the Oklahoma Bar Association on October 5.  Both sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 3:30 p.m.  There is no MCLE credit.
