Oklahoma residents on Thursday can call (800)
456-8525 from 9 a.m.
to 9 p.m. for free
legal advice on
any topic at no cost. The hotline will be staffed
on that day only by volunteer lawyers in Oklahoma
City and Tulsa. Spanish-speaking lawyers and translators will be
available. Other counties are also part of the project and provide
another local option for residents in those areas.
This is the 32nd year for lawyers to provide this
service as part of a national Law Day celebration.?
About 300 attorneys will be volunteering.? Last year 2,600 people called
in to receive help.
