Are You in Compliance?

Are you compliant with your MCLE requirements for 2009? If you are not and you are able to comply by April 15, 2010, you may avoid receiving the late notice we plan to send by certified mail.

Compliance

To comply you must:

Exemptions

If you are eligible to report an exemption that you did not report or was not recorded for you by our office, you must:

  • mark the appropriate exemption on the 2009 Final Annual Report of Compliance
  • pay $100 for late filing

If you are unsure about your compliance for 2009, you can check your MCLE record online at my.okbar.org and log in using your bar number and your PIN. You can also download the 2009 Final Annual Report of Compliance and mail it in with the appropriate late fees. If you feel that our records are in error or if you have questions, please contact the MCLE office at (405) 416-7009 or mcle(at)okbar.org.

Address Updates

Members sometimes miss notices from the OBA due to an incorrect address. All members of the Association are required to provide the Association with a current address and shall promptly inform the Association of any changes in address in accordance with Article 11, Section 1 of the Rules Creating and Controlling the Oklahoma Bar Association and Rule 13.1 of the Rules Governing Disciplinary Proceedings. You can update your address at my.okbar.org or contact Tracy Sanders at (405) 416-7068 or tracys(at)okbar.org.
