The New Lawyer Experience is a free program that the Oklahoma Bar Association provides each spring and fall several days after each new group of lawyers is sworn in. This fall the program will be held September 29, 2009 at the Tulsa County Bar Association and October 6, 2009 at the Oklahoma Bar Center in Oklahoma City.

The audience is not limited to new lawyers. Often over half of the attendees are lawyers who have been practicing a while. Some are lawyers who have been practicing for a couple of years and others have been for decades.

Many law school graduates still have little training about how to operate a business. This program attempts to address that need. To assist in that goal, we have also created our Starting a Law Practice Web Directory.
