Oklahoma Places in Top Ten at National Mock Trial Competition

Christian Heritage Academy's High School Mock Trial team

Christian Heritage Academy's High School Mock Trial team earned ninth place honors in the 26th Annual National High School Mock Trial Competition held in Atlanta May 9-10.

Coached by CHA teacher Jerrid Eischen and attorney Jennifer Miller, team members Joe Crow, Jonathan Wong, Jared Miller, Ryan Morrisett, Taylor Palmer, Addi Ellis, Katie Ceyler and Lindsey Littlejim competed against 42 state championship teams from across the country in addition to teams from Guam, The Commonwealth of the Marianas Islands and South Korea.

The High School Mock Trial program, sponsored by the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and the OBA Young Lawyers Division, and coordinated by Judy Spencer, is a hands-on experience that affords high school students the opportunity to learn about Constitutional rights and responsibilities and the American judicial system.
