It’s my very first time,
And I’m standing in line
Waiting to get inside
So I can draw a little line
To make a difference
In this country of mine.

Do I really think that one
Man among the millions
Could change the world?

Or am I losing my mind?
All I ever wanted was to
Make a little ripple in
The quickly flowing
Stream of time.
