The power to evoke change,
Change in a nation,
A nation whose voice is heard,
A voice which spans diversity,
A diversity that unifies,
A unification that creates power,
A power that governs the voiced,
The voiced which creates a democracy,
A democracy actioned by elections,
Elections which preserve freedom,
Freedoms that ensure rights,
Rights that have endured,
Endurance secured through rotation,
Rotation of the public into office,
Offices of influence elected,
Elected controlled by the people,
People choosing their future,
Future generations looking to the past,
The past providing answers,
Answers of democracy and example,
Examples of elections working,
Workers electing winners,
Winners hoping for reelection,
Reelection based on performance,
Performance altering public opinion,
Opinions based on feelings and facts,
Facts proving effectiveness,
Effectiveness keeping the peace,
Peace continuing with elections,
Elections democracy in action.
