This year the Litigation Section took on the task of providing a separate track of CLE on Litigation issues for the OBA Annual Meeting. The topics and speakers include the following:

1. Litigation Tactics: Dos and Don’ts presented by Judge Patricia Parrish
2. How to Negotiate and Settle a Case presented by Ed Able
3. Basic HIPPA for Litigators presented by Teresa Burkett
4. Electronic Discovery presented by Magistrate Judge Sam Joyner
5. Cross-Examination of Expert Witnesses presented by Ted Sherwood
6. Use of Technology in the Courtroom presented by Dan Morgan and Don Lovy

The committee also helped bring Dr. Joan Goldsmith to the Women in Law Conference, held in September 2007, and Ben Stein as a speaker at the Annual Meeting in November 2007.
