Search the Oklahoma Bar Journal via HeinOnline

By Darla Jackson

The Oklahoma Bar Association is pleased to offer a new member benefit that allows bar members to access and search the Oklahoma Bar Journal from its initial issues in 1930 to present via HeinOnline. And the best news is the price – free!  No more searching issue by issue, which will save valuable time.  HeinOnline users may search all bar journals at the same time using keywords and advance searches. Browsing individual OBJ issues is also an option.

The simplest way to access HeinOnline is to use the latest MyOKBar login page.

Simply enter your bar number and password. Once logged in, your OBA profile page will be displayed. Scroll to the bottom to see additional links, including HeinOnline.

With a click on the HeinOnline link and another click on the Oklahoma Bar Journal Collection link, you are now able to search or browse all issues of the OBJ published since 1930.

If you need assistance searching, viewing or downloading OBJ content, use the HeinOnline help features to chat with Hein support staff or access the HeinOnline FAQ and Advanced Search Syntax Guide. You may also call me at 405-416-7031 or 800-522-8065.

Please watch for more video tutorials providing instruction and tips on how to better use the advanced search features for OBJ content on HeinOnline.
