Oklahomans who have suffered damage and loss as a result of recent tornadoes, wind storms and hail may fill in the form below and have it forwarded to a volunteer attorney for assistance.

To have legal questions answered by a volunteer attorney, please fill out the form below and include the requested information so that you may be contacted. Some questions can be answered briefly by a response to your email; others may require that the assigned attorney contact you by phone to further discuss your legal issue. Advice is only being offered for legal questions related to the Spring 2012 tornados. Please give as much information as you can to describe your problem. If your situation requires more explanation than fits in the space provided, please do your best to give a detailed summary. Once contacted by a volunteer attorney, you will have the opportunity to more fully explain your situation.

After you have submitted your questions, the form will be forwarded to a volunteer attorney coordinator who will assign your question to an attorney. All questions will attempt to be acknowledged and reviewed by the volunteer attorney within one business day of receipt. Questions submitted after normal business hours will be responded to the next business day.

The services offered here are offered as a public service, free of charge and for the purpose of providing brief legal advice pursuant to Rule 6.5 of the Oklahoma Rules of Professional Conduct for lawyers. These services are provided in response to the damages caused by the recent severe weather and the need for quick advice. They are provided without expectation that the lawyer will provide continuing representation in the matter. In instances where advice is given pursuant to Rule 6.5 the attorney may not be able to fully check for conflicts of interest, and may not be obligated to disclose a conflict of interest unless he or she has knowledge of it at the time. If representation or legal services are provided beyond what is anticipated herein, the attorney and client should enter into a separate, complete agreement. By making a request through this website, you agree that you have been properly informed of the associated risks and alternatives to the short-term limited legal services to be provided to you, and are aware that strict compliance with all conflict of interest rules is not required of the lawyer.
