The time has come for us to step up and offer assistance
to our communities. I know in some instances people have
lost everything. The First Responders have done a remarkable
job in helping with immediate needs, but it is during this
time as people begin to rebuild their lives that legal
questions about insurance and property damage begin to
take priority. — OBA YLD Chair Molly Aspan
To have legal questions answered by a volunteer attorney,
please fill out the form below and include the requested information
so that you may be contacted. Some questions can be answered
briefly by a response to your email; others may require that
the assigned attorney contact you by phone to further discuss
your legal issue. Advice is only being offered for
legal questions related to the recent storms. Please
give as much information as you can to describe your problem.
If your situation requires more explanation than fits in the
space provided, please do your best to give a detailed summary.
Once contacted by a volunteer attorney, you will have the opportunity
to more fully explain your situation.
After you have submitted your questions, the form will be
forwarded to a volunteer attorney coordinator who will assign
your question to an attorney. All questions will attempt to
be acknowledged and reviewed by the volunteer attorney within
one business day of receipt. Questions submitted after
normal business hours, on weekends or holidays will be responded
to on the next business day.
