Why every Oklahoma attorney should attend the OBA Electronic Discovery Summit. Studies show that the majority of business records no longer make it to paper. One cannot imagine going to trial without examining half of the available documents. But electronic discovery awareness and understanding is not just for litigators. Corporate lawyers need to advise clients on document retention and destruction policies. Criminal prosecutions are being built on electronic evidence. Family lawyers are finding Internet use records becoming relevant and important. Sifting through hundreds of thousands of digital records requires new tools and techniques. Amendments to court rules are being drafted. This seminar is designed to bring cutting edge information and teach a comprehensive approach to electronic discovery issues. This may not be the last ED CLE program you attend, but if you haven't been to one yet, it should be the first.
